5,000 acre lake with over 75 miles of

Two young kids move into the Canadian
wilderness with nothing but a dream and
today it's called Wawang Lake Resort.
As we reflect back on the years of hard
work and what we've accomplished we
realize nothing comes easy. Our
challenges have been met and
difficult times overcome and a dream
came true.
We are here today and blessed with guests,
friends and family that visit us frequently,
and, we're reminded of just how
fortunate we really are when each year they

Due
to our remote location in the Canadian Boreal
Forest our waterway is the very finest in
Northern Ontario.
We
are located on a completely private lake that
offers exceptional fishing and hunting that only
a wilderness untouched by man can provide.
Wawang Lake is also known for its ability to
produce trophy Northern Pike and Walleye.
The
lake itself is 5,000 acres with miles of
irregular shoreline, which offers the
fisherman great fish habitat to explore, such
as sand bars, shoals, weed beds and islands -
perfect for exciting fishing. In
addition, our lake is easy to navigate and
offers a variety of natural lake structure
where fishing commonly congregate. All
this makes for excellent for fishing
You
will be sure to enjoy the beauty of our 1,500'
tropical like beach with gradual incline, and,
the bay we are located on is all sand, which
is perfect for a private swim, or the
traditional shore lunch.
Upon
your arrival we provide a laminated
detailed map of the lake and will highlight
areas showing where the successful fishing has
been prior to your arrival.
